We welcomed the Bengali New Year Day on 14th April 2026 with a difference. The day was buzzing with excitement as the students were preparing to go to a premier Mall in South Kolkata for an afternoon out with their classmates. Before the mall visit the students made a craft which had the elements of Poila Baishak. They came dressed in their casual best. A bus was arranged to take the students to the mall. There was a lot of chatter and cheer in the bus. After reaching the mall the students were escorted to the food court and each student was taken to the food counters to choose their food and buy it. Pizza, Pasta, Burgers and Momos were the hot favorites with the students.
The afternoon ended with all students going home with happy smiles and glowing faces.
