We celebrated our 76th Independence day on 15th August with a lot of joy and cheer. Students came wearing traditional Indian clothes. The colour code of the day was the Indian tri colour. So, some came dressed in orange, some in white, some in green and some in blue as the Ashok Chakra in our national flag is in the same colour. The day was filled with various fun activities. The day started on the terrace where the national anthem was sung in front of our national flag. Then a tri coloured salad was made with cucumber, paneer and carrot. The students had their face painted with our national flag. Students performed to Kavi Guru’s Rabindranth Tagore’s patriotic song which was appreciated by all. The day ended with an art work.
